As it tries to determine how the wages it offers compete with those in place at other towns and counties, Teton County is considering not reviewing salaries and benefits offered by a few other public employers in Wyoming, and instead wants to analyze compensation data from more comparable municipalities and counties in Montana and Colorado.

Though the consultant tasked with the compensation review is still vetting the Teton County Board of County Commissioners’ suggestions, the board asked it to drop Casper and Natrona counties as comparators.
