Tech career training available at no cost – Montana Department of Labor and Industry

Partnering with Google, the Coursera online learning platform, and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA), Montana’s Department of Labor & Industry is offering no-cost access to Google Career Certificates, online training in high-tech skills.

Grow with Google will provide 500 scholarships for Montanans for Google Career Certificates, preparing participants for a new career in under six months in high-growth fields, no experience required. You can earn a credential in data analytics, IT Support, project management, user experience (UX) design, and digital marketing and E-commerce, along with the opportunity to connect with top employers that are currently hiring. For those with two years of experience with Google IT Support, certification in IT automation in Python is also available.

This opportunity is open to anyone over age 18 who can commit to training for in-demand jobs. Reasonable computer skills and Internet connection is expected.
