Sweetgrass invites public to annual meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 1:00 pm.


The Sweetgrass Development Board of Directors would like to invite the public to their 2022 annual meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, beginning at 1:00 pm. The meeting shall be held in the conference room at Sweetgrass Development headquarters at 521 1st Avenue NW, Great Falls, Montana. Please note that the outside of the building is marked “Cascade County Disaster and Emergency Services”.
We look forward to a review of the past year’s activities, an update about exciting things that are happening within the region, and an introductory discussion regarding the process for the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) that we will be conducting this year. Please join us!

The North-Central Montana Economic Development District, dba Sweetgrass Development, is a private, non-profit corporation created in 2004 to support economic development in the Blackfeet Nation, the Montana Little Shell Chippewa Tribe, and the counties of Glacier, Cascade, Pondera, Teton and Toole. We are a diverse area that includes a large metropolitan area, many small towns, rural farming areas, several Hutterite Colonies, the Montana Little Shell Chippewa Tribe, and the Blackfeet Reservation. An eighteen-member Board of Directors governs Sweetgrass Development. The Board is comprised of community leaders who are elected or appointed officials as well as business owners and representatives of the communities.
