Submittable Launches Sub*stance – A corner of the internet just for grantmakers

If you’re a grantmaker, you know that the best ideas about grantmaking come from the people doing this work day in and day out. But they’re often so deep in it, they don’t have the time or space to share all that they’ve figured out along the way.

Sub*stance is a space for you to swap ideas with other grantmakers, get real advice, and dig deeper. It’s a place for you to find the creative spark you need, whenever you need it. Whether that be a fresh approach to a particular challenge, or an existential boost to help remember why you got into this work in the first place.

Mostly we get to the good stuff by talking to smart people who spend their time in the deep work. Their brilliance will show up in your inbox each week in a variety of forms. Think short interviews, long features, live events, and topical essays.

We hope you follow along, and jump in when you have something to share.
