Spots still available for Great Falls’ Future of Ag tour! 7/13 – 8:30AM

The Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce still has spots available for next week’s “Future of Ag Tour 2021”, an excellent introduction to where the industry is and where it is going.

“Agriculture is changing, from traditional wheat and barley to canola, chickpeas, industrial hemp, and lentils. What is in store for the future? You are cordially invited to the Future of Ag Tour 2021 on Tuesday, July 13th. Attend the tour and find all the answers to the questions above and more!

Schedule:
8:30 a.m. – Meet at Heritage Inn, check-in, watch short Ag Celebration Week videos.
9 a.m. – Bus Departs Heritage Inn for Fair Haven Hutterite Colony.
9:30-11:30 a.m. Tour of Fair Haven Colony as well as tours of winter and spring wheat, fallow, and lentil fields.
12-1:30 p.m. – Tour Ag Processing Solutions, Montana Valley Irrigation, and enjoy lunch catered by Clark and Lewie’s.
2-3:30 p.m. – Tour of ag related businesses in Great Falls such as Central Avenue Meats and Mighty Mo Brewing Co.
4 p.m. – Panel discussion at Heritage Inn with appetizers and drinks. Panel will include representatives from these industries: McCafferty Ranch, Central Avenue Meats, pulse crops, wheat and barley crops, industrial hemp crops, and canola crops.
