A Minnesotan with plans to launch a first-aid antibiotic topical ointment picked Sioux Falls for his new company’s headquarters because of its business climate, proximity to health care facilities and state universities.

Steve Keough, founder and CEO of pharmaCline http://www.pharmacline.webs.com/ , and his team have been working for 15 months to improve and revise a drug-delivery formulation. They are developing an array of potential products that work for everything from small cuts or burns to dermatological conditions to serious staph infections.
