Scientific evidence: Global warming drying Montana

Montana will have shorter winters, dry and hot summers and larger forest fires as a result of global climate change, a Nobel laureate says.

And despite the naysayers who claim that human activity is not a factor in global climate change, burning fossil fuels is clearly contributing to a rise in temperatures across the globe, said Steve Running, a professor of ecology at the University of Montana.
