Reynolds Market closure in Miles City, Montana impacts community and employees

Reynolds Market, a cornerstone in Miles City, will close its doors after serving the community for over 60 years. The closure is set for February 28, 2025.

The news of the closure has saddened many locals who have shopped and worked at the store for generations. One shopper expressed their feelings, saying, “That is the saddest news ever, that just honestly broke my heart.”

The closest Reynolds Market is in Glendive, over 70 miles away. Schell stated that they aim to keep as many team members as possible and help displaced workers find new employment. However, for many employees, the store holds a special place. “It’s not going to be the same as Reynolds,” one employee said.
