MidYear Economic Update:
An Assessment of the
U.S. and Montana Economy
Coming to 7 Cities Across Montana
It has been an eventful year for the economy already. The torrid pace of economic growth of last year has given us surging inflation, very tight labor markets, and empty store shelves in 2022. And now the prospect of the Federal Reserve finally taking action against inflation to cool down growth has spooked financial markets and awakened recession fears. Are those fears overblown? Join us this summer as we discuss these and other issues affecting our economic future as a state.
This year’s program will have a special focus on the supply chain disruptions that have impacted just about every business in the state. We’ll be joined by University of Montana Wilson Logistics Faculty Fellow Dr. Simona Stan who will present her assessment of how, and how much longer, these disruptions came about.
Don’t miss this summer event!
