Rally speakers: ‘Make education a top priority for state funding in Montana’

The word that echoed repeatedly around the Oval during the Tuesday lunch hour was “priority.” And according to the speakers at the 21st Century College Education Opportunity Rally, the No. 1 priority for Montana should be education.
The point of the rally, said MontPIRG’s Nate Watson, was to convince people that education is worthy of investment and that the state legislature should do a better job of funding the university system.
