Prospera Receives $500,000 Grant from the Montana Department of Commerce to Jump Start New Revolving Loan Fund
Bozeman, MT – Prospera has been awarded $500,000 from the Montana Department of Commerce to create a new loan fund program for businesses in Gallatin and Park Counties. The funding is through Commerce’s Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) Revolving Loan Fund Grant Program. “Through the BSED Revolving Loan Program, this grant funding will help build strong partnerships between local economic development organizations and the State to help spur sustainable growth for Montana’s economy”, said Paul Green, Director of the Montana Department of Commerce.
Prospera is honored to be one of 16 recipients from around the state to receive funding. This funding award will allow Prospera to create an additional revolving loan fund, making it possible for us to do more and larger loans for local businesses looking to start or grow. Paul Reichert, Prospera’s Executive Director said, “Having additional loan funds available will help us support more businesses with lending that otherwise would not be available. By design, these loan funds will revolve, and support local business in Montana for years to come.”
