PowerBar plant in Boise closing, 165 employees laid off

Post Holdings Inc. announced Thursday that it will close its plant on Eisenman Road in Southeast Boise by July, which will affect 165 employees.

The plant manufactures PowerBar products that are distributed in North America. PowerBar opened the Boise plant in 1994, and it functioned as a manufacturing and distribution facility, according to the Boise Valley Economic Partnership.
