The United States Postal Service abruptly announced that expedited and two-day air service wouldn’t be available in Montana as part of its reorganization and cost management system. That has rankled Montana’s Congressional delegation as well as not sitting well with residents. But, the main airline contractor wasn’t even given the courtesy of being told, even as it had offered to slash rates by millions in order to keep Montanans working.
