Portland startup Lecere sues its own investors over online comments

Jim Morris, chief executive of tiny Portland startup Lecere Corp. http://www.lecere.com/ , says he’s a technology wonk and a serial entrepreneur with nothing but the best of intentions.

A handful of anonymous investment chatboard posters feel otherwise. In a series of increasingly barbed posts this fall and winter, a new federal lawsuit alleges, these critics called Morris a "criminal," a "clown" and a "scum bag rotten piece of trash with no morals."

The critics added that Lecere is "bankrupt," "dead," and offered "nothing left of value," according to the suit.
