Portland area prepares to add another million people by 2030

The land used to be known simply as the family farm. Now it’s part of what’s called the urban-rural interface, and complications sprout alongside the crops. Like when a new neighbor reported Lyle Spiesschaert to the state Department of Environmental Quality for stirring up dust.
