Pocatello, Idaho mayor hopes Heinz will reconsider closure

Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad says he’s trying to persuade H.J. Heinz Co. not to close its local plant, but city officials are also eyeing other options.

Blad told the Idaho State Journal (http://bit.ly/1eauXIi) in a story on Saturday that 410 workers will be out of a job following the plant’s scheduled closure in June.
