Pharmacology – The science and profession of redundancy

We trust doctors with our lives. But we don’t trust them to count out thirty pills, put them in a bottle and make sure they don’t take ten for themselves. WTF? But we do trust them to keep all kinds of drug samples on site, unaccounted for and freely accessible in the cabinet. This is business process that needs to evolve.
