Oregon treasury invests $3 million in angel fund
A state treasury fund that invests lottery proceeds on behalf of Oregon’s public schools will invest $1 million each of the next three years in the Oregon Angel Fund.
It’s a remarkable investment.
The Oregon Angel Fund http://www.oen.org/programs/oaf/ is a new venture designed to educate novice angel investors while placing much-needed seed funding in the bank accounts of local startups. It’s too new to have earned any returns.
