Now there’s a club for lonely business founders.
Hampton, a private membership community launched in 2023 by entrepreneur Sam Parr and Joe Speiser, was created to provide founders with the structured peer support Parr lacked during the sale of his company to HubSpot. Designed to combat the isolation many entrepreneurs feel, Hampton charges $15,000 annually and has grown to more than 1,000 members across 13 cities, accepting about 4 percent of applicants through a rigorous vetting process focused on experienced, growth-oriented founders running companies that average $20 million in revenue. Members gain access to curated events, exclusive experiences, and a private online community where they can candidly discuss business and personal challenges. Named after Hampton Avenue in Parr’s hometown of St. Louis, the community aims to offer a rare space where founders can speak openly about what’s really happening behind the scenes.
