New childcare option opens in Missoula

July 2, 2024/

In Missoula County, the need for childcare is higher than the current supply in the area. However, Monday, the Missoula Family YMCA opened its new Phyllis Washington Early Child Care center. 

The YMCA had two-hour child care while people were going to work out and they could drop their children off, but this new center is different. The new child care center will be for those who may have to go to work and need to drop their kids for the whole day. 

In doing this, the YMCA wants to be a resource for the community.
