National Geographic map project coordinators to visit Montana, meet public

It’s surely a sign of the times that when Montanans get together to talk about the importance of environmental and cultural stewardship these days, the meetings are led by conservationists and business leaders alike.
“We live in a remarkable place that still has distinct character and sense of community,” said Jan Metzmaker, director of the Whitefish Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Our natural and cultural heritage has strong appeal to visitors, and to those of us who choose to live here.”
