Montana State University’s Montana Innovation Partnership, or MTIP, recently partnered with three new firms to help startup technology companies in Montana expand their businesses.

MTIP has partnered with Peak Innovations Group, OppsSpot and The Outpost after a competitive proposal request process. The three consulting firms will work with MTIP to support Montana companies applying for Small Business Innovation Research, or SBIR, and Small Business Technology Transfer, or STTR, funding by providing coaching, reviews and other assistance.

MTIP is Montana’s Federal and State Technology, or FAST, partnership program through its cooperative agreement between MSU and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
