MSU offers "Welcome Back Bobcats!" kits to Bozeman businesses

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Montana State University’s Community Relations Office and Bobcat Athletics will provide free "Welcome Back Bobcats!" kits for businesses in Bozeman.

The kits are designed to help local merchants welcome MSU students and their families to Bozeman and celebrate the start of the new school year.

Included in the kit are athletic schedules, a "Go Cats" sign, a window decal, calendar of fall events and information on how to stay connected with MSU.

"Montana State is so grateful for all the support Bozeman gives our students and the university," said Chelsea Schmidt, with MSU Community Relations. "We know there is a lot of Bobcat Pride in our community and these kits are a way to show it."

A limited number of kits are available and can be ordered by visiting http://www.montana.edu/bobcatspirit/kits. Kits will be delivered the week of Aug. 13.
