MSU Leadership Institute Builds Video and Website Library

Looking for leadership and leadership development sources for your next paper?

The MSU Leadership Institute http://www.montana.edu/leadership/ announces a terrific on-campus video and website resource center. Located in room 145 of the SUB, the Institute now has a leadership themed video and website library. Any MSU student or staff member with a One Card may check out their free videos for one week.

Justin Bawden, staffer with the Leadership Institute, and a pre-law student, heads up the project. "We want to accommodate the needs of MSU students," said Bawden. "We will do our best to find the resource that you need on the topics of leadership style, development, icons, and more," he added.

The Leadership Institute has videos ranging from biographies on former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Cuba’s waning dictator Fidel Castro, as well as instructional programs focusing on leadership techniques. The Institute hopes to expand the selection, and would greatly welcome any videos that the faculty or students wish to donate or recommend.

In addition to the video library, the Leadership Institute has added a web-site resource center. This Institute gathers the latest websites that include leadership, including http://www.matr.net, the Montana Associated Technology Roundtables site that promotes economic advancement in Montana. A goal of the Institute is to have a diverse and easily accessible archive for current, timely leadership theories.

Whether you are looking for research ideas, reference materials, lecture topics or some good old-fashioned inspiration, the MSU Leadership Institute, an ASMSU committee, is a wonderful starting point.
