Montana World Trade Center effort to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Montana, first ever BIRD Foundation (US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development) grant to our state

Couldn’t be more pleased that Montana firm, Adelos, has partnered with Israeli firm, 4Cast Systems, to secure the first-of-its-kind BIRD Foundation grant involving a Montana firm. https://www.birdf.com/…/upl…/2019/01/BIRDBOGDecember2018.pdf This outcome is further evidence that Montana World Trade Center’s intentional approach to foreign direct investment is paying off for Montana. BIRD (US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development) Foundation’s mission is to stimulate, promote and support industrial R&D of mutual benefit to the U.S. and Israel and requires U.S. and Israeli firms to partner on each project. The upcoming call for proposals deadline is March 6th, 2019.

I’m also pleased to announce that MWTC has partnered with the Baucus Institute to bring on a law student in Spring of 2019 who will help us to develop a packet of key legal information for foreign entities interested in making an investment in Montana. This information will be made available to our EDO partners. We also plan to expand upon this project in subsequent terms to focus on laws and regulations specific to key Montana verticals for FDI attraction, further improving our ability to positively differentiate our state in relation to industry-specific critical location factors.
