Montana State University has posted the content from the most recent issue of its flagship magazine, Mountains and Minds. The magazine focuses on President Waded Cruzado as she retires after 15 years as the university’s leader. The magazine includes several long-form stories with accompanying photography and art, including the following:
  • Unprecedented growth,” highlighting the physical changes to MSU’s campus during Cruzado’s 15-year presidency.
  • Choosing promise,” detailing MSU’s efforts to keep students in school and on track to earn their degrees.
  • In their own words,” featuring students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends reflecting on Cruzado’s impact and legacy.
  • The Cruzado effect,” detailing how Cruzado helped MSU’s people learn to be ‘hungry, big and bold,’ raising hundreds of millions along the way.
  • For the love of literature,” which includes a list of 60 fiction and nonfiction books in Cruzado’s personal library that have made an impression on her.
