Montana places near the bottom in new national ranking for childhood education – “The State With the Best Education Wins!”

Montana placed near the bottom of a new national ranking that examined how states stack up on early childhood education, according to Wallethub.

WalletHub recently conducted a study on early education and ranked each state using 12 key metrics. Montana ranked 45th overall.

The metrics ranged from the share of school districts offering a state pre-K program to the number of pre-K quality benchmarks met and total reported spending per child enrolled in pre-K.
