Montana Passenger Rail Summit Follow Up – Video of Summit Available
Thanks to all who tuned in last Thursday for the summit — we had quite a few participants! Without you all, this would not have been possible, so thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm.

For a three-hour event, it sure zoomed by! We apologize that we could not get to everyone’s questions that were submitted via the Q and A. Over the next couple of weeks, we plan to find ways to address these unanswered questions, so stay tuned for future emails about those.
For those who attended the summit and haven’t had a chance, we would greatly appreciate if you would fill out this survey to let us know how it all went.
We heard some reports of our emails not reaching attendees. Please make sure to add [email protected] to your contacts or safe senders list so you receive future communications from us!
Lastly, this project is not over, but simply beginning! To help keep this train rolling down the tracks, we need the help of many. Here are some ways you can help:
- Tell your friends and family about passenger rail.
- Talk to your elected officials at the federal, state and local levels about passenger rail and tell them why you care about it.
- Contact your members of Congress and ask them to support continued funding for existing long-distance Amtrak service, including the Empire Builder, and to include language in the surface transportation bill to authorize the creation of additional multi-state rail commissions.
- Share posts about passenger rail on your social media accounts.
- Write an op-ed about the importance of passenger rail for your local news outlets.
