Montana educators working to learn more about helping underprepared students

A significant number of American students come to college not able to do college-level work.
If that’s not troubling enough, the system designed to remedy that situation has problems of its own.
The good news is that recent research points to ways to fix the system so more students complete two- and four-year college degrees critical to their future and a healthy economy, said Bruce Vandal, who works for a Denver-based project to make remedial and developmental education more effective.
