Montana Community Reinvestment Organization application site now open!

During the 2023 Legislative Session, the legislature passed, and the governor signed the Montana Community Reinvestment Plan Act (HB 819). The Montana Community Reinvestment Plan Act, in part, allocated $50 million to make workforce housing more affordable in Montana through a regional, community-based solution. The new law also allocated an additional $6 million to qualifying counties (Powell, Deer Lodge, and Custer counties) for additional assistance with workforce housing for state employees.

I am pleased to announce the opening of the online application portal for the Montana Community Reinvestment Organizations (CRO’s). You may find the Montana Grants and Loans Portal at https://montana.servicenowservices.com/mtgl.

We look forward to working with you as your communities consider applying for this funding opportunity, and we welcome your feedback. If your organization or community decides not to participate, please take a moment to provide feedback on the site by selecting “No.” This will allow you to enter a separate site to provide feedback to us and the legislature.
