The Montana Department of Commerce has announced that three Montana communities will receive over $627,000 in grant funding for vital public safety and development projects in coal-impacted areas. The funding was allocated by the Montana Coal Board.

Ashland residents will be able to continue using their gymnasium for community activities and sporting events thanks to the grant awards. This will support the overall well-being and engagement of the community.
