Montana Ambassadors Announce 2009 Award Winners for Outstanding Service – Awards Dinner will be held the evening of February 25th in Great Falls, Montana

Each year, the Montana Ambassadors recognize outstanding leaders within the organization, as well as in business and education. Governor Schweitzer and the Montana Ambassadors are pleased to announce the 2009 Award Winners:

For outstanding service to the organization, Montana Ambassador of the Year is Bill Johnston, Alumni Relations Director for The University of Montana-Missoula and current President of Montana Ambassadors.

Montana Ambassadors Entrepreneur of the Year: The Huls Family has been selected for entrepreneurship and innovative production on the Huls Dairy Farm http://www.hulsdairy.com/ in Corvallis, MT.

Montana Ambassadors’ Business of the Year is Community Counseling and Correction Services (CCCS) for demonstrating extraordinary innovation and commitment to their employees and communities of Montana.

Montana Ambassadors Mike Malone Educator of the Year award is given to Dean David Forbes, for his leadership in strengthening the exceptional academic and research programs offered by The University of Montana College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences.

Outreach Montana Ambassador of the Year is awarded to Joe Whittinghill, Past President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter based in Seattle, for his leadership in building the first out-of-state Chapter of Montana Ambassadors.

Award winners will speak during the Montana Ambassador Annual Meeting and Conference to be held February 25th and 26th in Great Falls. An Awards Dinner will be held the evening of February 25th to honor each of the winners.
