When Montana-based AdvR, Inc. http://www.advr-inc.com/ – a developer of laser optic technologies – was moving one of their technologies from development toward production, company leaders asked what is the best way to move toward manufacturing. They were, after all, a "bunch of scientists, not manufacturers," said Elizabeth Noonan, AdvR’s contracts coordinator. "We knew we needed guidance but we weren’t sure where we could get it."
