Missoula’s Rocky Mountain Elk foundation gets $30 million endowment

A Missoula hunting and conservation group says it has received a $30 million endowment from the sale of a New Mexico ranch.
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation http://www.rmef.org/ said the Torstenson Family Endowment will allow the group to speed up its purchases of wildlife habitat and further its mission to restore elk in the wild.
It was funded with the sale of the 94,400-acre Torstenson Wildlife Center, formerly the Double H Ranch.
