Missoula SOUP – Accepting Pitch Applications for 1/31/19

Soup is a donation-based, volunteer-run microgranting dinner. The SOUP concept originated in Detroit in 2010, and since then SOUP events have been held in many other communities across the country and internationally. MissoulaSOUP is launching with our first event on 1/31/19!

At SOUP, attendees make a donation at the door and in return they receive a short musical performance, a simple dinner and a VOTE. They vote for one of four Pitches, and the Pitch with the most votes takes home the donations from the door, to use toward their project idea.

Only one Pitch takes home the donations, but we hope that SOUP will be a catalyst for moving all the Pitches/projects forward, in a variety of different ways. Each Pitch will have a bulletin board space available throughout the event for networking, gathering contact info, and making connections.

Pitches can be about ANYTHING that you think will benefit the Missoula community and Pitches can be made by anyone–no age limits. The rules are simple on purpose, and so is the application.
