A few slots for Summer Media Camps Remain

There are a few spots for Documentary Camp and Horror Camp so don’t be shy if you would like to sign up your kiddo,

The camp runs 10am to 4pm in the MCAT studios at The Missoula Public Library.

The week-long activity costs $200 and scholarships are available, just write to us at [email protected].

Creative & Nurtured!

MCAT Summer Media Camp includes snack breaks every day but please outfit your media camper with a pack lunch.

There will be a screening at the end of the media camp for family & friends with snacks, drinks and kid creativity!

Summer Special, Free Audio Engineering Workshops given by Travis Yost. Tuesdays, June 23, July 28 August 18 Each workshop runs 5:45 to 7:45pm.

Learn the basics of audio recording, including home studio recording, field recording, and camera audio. Great for the absolute beginners to those with some experience. Travis Yost is a recording engineer and performing musician with 30+ years of experience.

MCAT at The Missoula Public Library has Blender animation media class.

Learn a powerful animation software program for free! Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software tool. It is used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D-printed models, motion graphics, interactive 3D applications, and virtual reality AND in creating video games. Class starts at 6pm every Monday or 4pm on Fridays. For more info contact Neil at [email protected].

Missoula Filmmakers Collective: A Forum for Filmmakers

Join us for the gathering of the Missoula Filmmakers Collective—a forum for filmmakers, industry professionals, aspiring creators, and film lovers to connect, collaborate, and create community. We’ll meet on the second Tuesday of each month 5:30–7:30 PM in the Missoula Public Library Cooper Room. Come enjoy refreshments, conversation, and creative energy. Next meeting is Tuesday, May 12th. All are welcome!
