Missoula-area wood industry closures mean ripple effects for workers, tax base, forest management

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Both Pyramid Mountain Lumber in Seeley Lake and Missoula’s Roseburg Forest Products particle plant announced closures this month.
