Missoula Archery Club Hunts for New Home After Lease Loss

Five Valleys Archery Club

Well, this isn’t exactly the bullseye Five Valleys Archery Club was aiming for.

After more than 40 years giving archers in Missoula and Bitterroot Valley a space to practice their shot, Five Valleys Archery Club has just lost the lease on its long-running practice range in the Miller Creek area. And now they’re in a pickle, with no home base to fling arrows in the air.

For people who’ve never been to the club, it’s about more than shooting. It’s where generations of people, from children to adults, go for 3D shoots, summer leagues and some good old-fashioned target practice. It had it all, targets from 10 to 100 yards, a 20-target walking course, and the type of community that turns strangers into friends.

But the club is now scrambling to find a new home before the next archery season opens. And they need your help.
