Missoula advisory board to address community inclusion and equity Thursday at the Missoula Public Library at 4:00 p.m.

A new city and county program titled the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Advisory Board is set to meet Thursday at the Missoula Public Library at 4:00 p.m. The board advises local government to ensure that public residents can access necessary resources.

The JEDI Advisory Board consists of members approved by various officials: one citizen approved by the mayor, four citizens approved by the Missoula County Commissioners, and four citizens approved by the Missoula City Council. The board focuses on representing voices often missing from community discussions.
