During a presentation about the economic outlook for Montana and the country Wednesday, a speaker presented a graph showing the growth rate of both the state and country over the last two decades.

The U.S.’s line was slightly decreasing until the pandemic, when it sharply tanked for a year. Then, it spiked sharply.

Montana’s line was the opposite.
