Microsoft opens new research office in Utah

One of the areas of future development is in the area of what Microsoft calls "flexible work styles" — something particularly important to younger workers.

"They want to work anywhere," he said. "Work becomes an activity, not a location. We really want to enable users to be productive on any device, any where at any time."
