‘Mask up Wyoming’: state officials say prevention ‘more important than ever’ as COVID surges

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon’s office said on Friday, June 26 that as the state’s COVID-19 case count continues to surge, prevention is “more important than ever.”

“The significant increase in new cases of COVID-19 that began earlier this month continues,” the governor’s office said. “On June 25, Wyoming had 36 new laboratory-confirmed positive cases, the largest single-day total the state has seen since the first case of COVID-19 was recorded in March.”
