MAPS video on Logger Days wins first prize at film festival

Two MAPS http://www.mapsmediainstitue.com students were awarded first prize, best in category, at the Western Montana Student Film Festival hosted by Missoula Community Access Television on Thursday.

The primary filmmakers were Wyatt Campbell and Caleb Hallahan.

MCAT general manager Joel Baird said the competition was tough.

Hallahan and Campbell are students at the MAPS Media Institute in Hamilton. This is MAPS’ first summer of programming and classes in design, film, music, technology and entrepreneur are being taught, June 15 to Aug. 21. To register, visit their website http://www.mapsmediainstitue.com.
