Major film and television production facility opens in Missoula

Montana’s film industry took a significant step forward as the first major film production facility celebrated its grand opening in Missoula. Story House Montana, located on a 47-acre, 400,000 square foot campus, is set to bring Hollywood-level filmmaking to the Garden City. The facility used to be Roseburg Forest Products, which closed down last year.

James Brown III, President and CCO of Story House Montana, expressed the vision behind the facility. “It’s an opportunity to build a creative village where stories deserve to be told right here in Montana for Montana about Montana,” he said.
