Pioneer Elementary School teachers Melissa Schnitzmeier and Connie Russell recently led an effort to get 20 iPads for the school.
A technology seminar in January provided the motivation for Schnitzmeier and Russell to acquire new technology to help meet Common Core standards.
Schnitzmeier and Russell, with the support of Pioneer’s School Board, began their iPad project by seeking assistance from several local businesses.
Valley Federal Credit Union was one of the businesses that stepped up.
