Leadership Luncheon Brings Alumni to University of Montana Campus

Stacking plates in the Food Zoo may not seem like the fast track to fame and fortune, but every little bit of experience during college can help.

That’s the message University of Montana alumni hope to impart on students as part of the eighth-annual series "Ask-an-Alum Career Leadership Luncheon" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the University Center North Ballroom.

The program is designed to give UM students an opportunity to hear how important it is to be involved on campus and how skills gained from student employment positions, extra curricular activities, internships and volunteer positions are applicable to their professional lives after graduation.

Hors d’oeuvres will be served and there are already confirmed panelists from Sigma Chi, Kappa Alpha Theta and Sigma Nu.

Alumni interested in participating in future luncheons should contact Daphne Felker at 243-6150. Future luncheons are scheduled for November, January, March and April.

The event is free, but space is limited. Students wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP by calling 243-5082 or e-mail [email protected].
