Hi, I’m Jill Demers Garland, co-founder of ReWild Ranch, a regenerative farm and agritourism project west of Missoula on the Clarkfork River, rooted in the belief that healthy people depend on healthy soil.
My work at ReWild evolved from a deeply personal journey. When my middle son was diagnosed with autism, I discovered how profoundly nutrient-dense food and simple lifestyle practices could influence health. Within three years, he lost his clinical diagnosis, an experience that reshaped my understanding of food, biology, and our connection to the land. It ultimately led me to leave a successful career and pursue advanced training in Nutrition Therapy.
Today, I’m a Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner, Regenerative Farmer, and Wellness Educator. At ReWild, my husband and I are restoring degraded land into a working regenerative farm while creating immersive experiences that reconnect people to food, farming, and their own health. Drawing on my background as an Adjunct Professor, I teach and host workshops that bridge soil health, nutrient density, and human resilience, bringing the science of nutrition out of the lab, into the field, and onto your plate.
When I’m not working on the farm or teaching, you’ll find me developing recipes for my upcoming cookbook, skiing, running in the mountains, or adventuring with my husband and our three boys.
