International Wildlife Film Festival winners announced

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

The winners of the 36th Annual International Wildlife Film Festival were honored Friday at the Roxy Theater during a First Friday ceremony. Several of the top award-winning films were shown again on Saturday.

The 2013 IWFF Lifetime Achievement Award for Marine Conservation & Media was awarded to Howard & Michele Hall whose aquatic film work has dramatically expanded our understanding of ocean environments. The Halls have received seven Emmy Awards and numerous other honors, and they have also authored many books and articles about their incredible experiences diving in the world’s oceans.
