Infopia of Salt Lake closes on $8 million in venture capital funding

Salt Lake-based e-commerce company Infopia http://infopia.com/ said Wednesday it has closed an $8 million round of venture capital funding.

The round was led by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners http://www.humwin.com/ and Trident Capital http://www.tridentcap.com/ . Additional participants were previous investors Transpacific Capital Partners and BC Select Fund. Through two funding rounds, Infopia has raised $15 million.
