How do you solve a problem like ghost jobs? You might just have to get better at detecting them, much like AI slop. 

Ghost jobs have become so pervasive that the vast majority of job applicants have come across listings for a position that wasn’t actually available. A recent survey found that 86% of people looking for jobs had come across a job posting that wasn’t connected to a real opening. Over a third of job applicants said they had invested upwards of four hours on job listings that weren’t actually legitimate.
